Investment Club

Our Investment Club is aimed at uniting those interested in the world of investments, those willing to receive or improve their investment skills. In our club you can gain a personal investing experience and knowledge under the guidance of experienced consultants, in the team of like-minded people, and with minimum risk.

In the future some of us may be able to independently make the capital that cannot be earned should one be doing a regular job, may become financially independent, may do the things we like, and live where we are willing to live…

We cannot fully guarantee our members will be able to acquire financial independence through investments. However, we are firmly sure it will be much more difficult to become financially independent without investments.

OBJECTIVES:

Receiving personal practical skills in effective investing.
Raising and increasing personal capital.
Raising passive (investment) income up to the level of the full time job and higher; consequently obtaining financial independence.

POSSIBLE INVESTMENT DIRECTIONS:

Ukrainian stock market (shares, bonds);
International stock markets (shares, bonds, derivatives);
Gold, currency;
Direct investments into business. Venture and private equity funds. Business projects of KMBS graduates and club members.

Portfolio theory and optimal distribution of shares
Bond portfolio management
Investment management
Investment psychology
Derivative financial instruments
Financial crises and their forecasting/prediction
Risk management
Stock market microstructure
Attracting investments: M&A, IPO
Venture and private equity funds: functioning principles

Note: The monthly club meetings format does not allow for perfect in-depth study of the given issues. Those wishing to improve their knowledge in the field of finance and investment are recommended to enrol into MBF (Master of Banking and Finance) program .

CLUB MEMBERSHIP:

Club members are divided into two groups depending on their goals and experience:

NOVICE INVESTORS/BEGINNERS are allowed to attend open meetings.
QUALIFIED INVESTORS are granted access to practical classes on international stock market investments, direct investments markets and similar issues.

Investment club meetings are held monthly on last Thursday.
